Requirements:
Job Description:
1. Manage and administer cloud environments, including but not limited to AWS or Azure.
2. Design, implement, and maintain cloud architecture and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
3. Configure and optimize cloud services, such as compute instances, storage, networking, databases, and security groups.
4. Monitor cloud infrastructure health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
5. Implement and enforce security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance standards.
6. Conduct regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and testing to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
Technical Skills :
1. 8-9 years of experience as a Cloud Administrator or similar role, with a strong background in managing cloud infrastructure.
2. Proficiency in managing Enterprise cloud infra (AWS Control Tower/Transit Gateway/Identity Center/VPC/Route53, VPC)
3. Good understanding and experience on IaaS/PaaS/SaaS technology (like EC2/Lambda/Glue)
4. Understanding of the configuration management, and usage of Relational and No SQL Databases (Aurora RDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
5. Monitor cloud resources effectively with the aid of relevant tools in AWS (Cloudwatch/CloudTrail/Config)
6. Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, configuration management
7. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
8. Knowledge on implementing Cloud best practices/Cost optimization/Regulatory Compliance (PCI-DSS/NIST/CIS).
9. Good understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles in cloud environments.
10. Good to have multi cloud exp. AWS and Azure preferred
11. Preferred to have Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate
